The 5.04 has been out for a long time. Latest blog entry 1 year old. Latest forum support posting 10 months old etc.

When did the author/creator of CPT last showed any sign of life?

A few months ago when he said he was hard at work on an update and that it should be out by April or he would scrap the 'subscription model'.

That said...this forum is for people to exchange ideas with other users...not really for anything else.

I expect he will probably release the update at some point, let existing clients have it for free and charge a flat fee going forth for anyone else interested in CPT. No need for subscriptions or to constantly trying to improve (read: complicate) an existing product that is already (with minor exceptions) really good at what it does.

I will soon provide an update on the current status. Thank you all for your interest, understanding and appreciation!

I would be happy if the only updates to CPT were fixing bugs. So frequently I would get errors that I ended up not using the program. From a functionality standpoint, it already does what I need it to. THe only other upgrade I could want is being able to use it on my iPhone.

I think an App for a phone ( I have Android ) would qualify as a separate product in some respects. Some Apps tend to be neutered versions of fully operational programs, out of necessity.

In any case, we wait to see what Stefan has in mind.
