Does anybody know why min-mac calculations don't work at tabiyas ?
Today is just ended after a few hours to input the "complete" ECO E60-E99 and then i just now saw that min-max Calculation isn't working at tabiya-positions !
Currently i am working at the Grunfeld but before proceeding i need a solution to this.
When entering the games starting from move 1 and call it a new variation it works but then you get many times 1.d4 at the available moves to play at move 1, just what i wanted to avoid.

Min Max calculation is the most Misleading feature in any chess software. Min Max is only reliable if all possible moves are evaluated like how engines think.

To input ECO i find best. We should already have this as download options.
One ide is to have them on diffrent levels.
Level1 Just going into diffrent ECO numbers
Level2 The tables for each number
Level3 The small numbers for deviations/examples.
Perhaps doing it this way or a simular way each position can be free from tabiyas so you can do min/max on all ECO. If you do this that would be some sort of bust or final solutions for ECO. I know min/max is great implemented in engins to calculate moves but her on CPT I dont relly know how min/max works

I've always assumed it was 'just me', but glad to see it is not. Mini-Max is...too confusing to be of use.
Now that I have played around with the revised Chessbase 13, I have a feeling I am going to use the new 'anaylsis jobs' function in Chessbase 13, before to go thru opening's before I port my opening lines over to CPT. It might be more cumbersome...but it's pretty darn straightforward.
Simplicity = useful = used. Mini-Max just isn't simple enough (or maybe it's just not explained well) to be worth my time.
