There are only a few keyboard shortcuts to remember, but they can make your life much easier.

If you press the Shift Key while entering a move via your mouse the move will be added to the Candidate Move List, but you stay at the current position. This way you can quickly enter all relevant candidate moves for the current position. Some keyboard shortcuts exists for navigating through you repertoire. The most important ones are the Left and Right Arrows to navigate forward and backward through your opening or tabiya (if you are not editing a comment). Next are Shift-Left and Shift-Right, which will navigate forward and backward depending on the GoTo-Position Type you have selected on the Navigation group page (by default it is “branch”). Jumping forth and back to the branches of your opening or tabiyas is a true time safer for many scenarios.
