Based on this information an algorithm calculates the worst variation or position of a selected sub-repertoire and trains the player in it. Hence Chess Position Trainer makes your learning process much more efficient than it was previously possible, because you no longer have to train the same positions which you already know well while others are neglected.
Percentage Number reflecting your Repertoire Knowledge
June 2004 -- Based on all training scores a reliable percentage number is calculated reflecting your current knowledge of your repertoire.
Position Tree
October 2004 -- In a very clear way you are presented with all moves of a sub-repertoire. A simple click on a move will bring you directly to the according position on the chess board. Additional information like training score make the navigation even easier.
Sub-Repertoire Concept
October 2004 - Through the innovative sub-repertoire concept it is no longer necessary to create independend databases for different topics like Sicilian, Scandinavian etc. Instead you manage them all in just one repertoire which makes the daily work much easier.
Blindfold Training
November 2005 -- With Chess Position Trainer you can train for the first your own (!) repertoire in different blindfold modes. This way you can improve your visualization skills greatly without having to go through abstract excercises.
