Due to Chess Position Trainer this has been significantly changed. The comprehensive implementation of the flash-card concept will let you never again train inefficiently. You will always be brought to those positions in a training session which caused you the most problems in the past. Of course this invaluable information is stored and availabe for the session on the next day.

Every Position has a Training Value

This is the key for the efficient training of Chess Position Trainer. You are presented a position for which you have to find the best move (according to your invidual repertoire) without any hint. If you make the requested move your score for this position will increase otherwise it will decrease. Every position has a training score betwee 0% and 100%. This stored information is the basis for the application of the flash-card concept.

More than 70 Training Options don't leave any Desires unfulfilled

The training-center of Chess Position Trainer is the true gem of this chess software. The training module is umatched with more than 70 training parameters of which most can be freely combined. Some highlights:

• Train selected variations only.
• Train always your worst variation (based on your training results in the past).
• Train your worst position right away (in this case CPT will always jump to your worst position and ignore concrete variations).
• Play blindfold and become the next Morozevitsch! A great option to train your visualitation skills.
• Sound support make the training fun and have a positive education effect. If you teach chess pupils you will soon see how motivating the sound effects and training statistic are for them!.

The Training-Wizard delivers good Training Settings in Seconds

Naturally the vast amount of training options can become overwhelming for the novice, but exactly for this case the training-wizard has been created. Select a sub-repertoire which you want to train, provide your knowledge or preferred difficult level and here we go!
Even experienced players might find some new challenging settings by using the training-wizard – the nightmare mode has not been created for novices!

Train blindfolded!

Unlike speciliazed software on this area which train you in any variation or pattern, Chess Position Trainer will use your personal repertoire. You can adjust the blindfold mode by several options (e.g. only hiding certain pieces or parts of the board).
