Sub-Repertoires

Your whole Chess Repertoire clearly arranged

How do you manage your chess repertoire at the moment? Probably you create one chess database for each opening (e.g. Dragon, Kings Indian Attack, Scandinavian etc.). Chess Position Trainer introduced the concept of sub-repertoires. No longer you have to manage your sub-repertoires independently. Instead they all belong to one repertoire. While you have sub-repertoires for e.g. Dragon, Kings gambit or Pirc you only one repertoire. Let’s call it “Standard”. There may exist another repertoire called “Blitz” where you play different variations, but in general your chess knowledge is gathered and linked within a single repertoire. Many things depend on this characteristica. For example the chess board is automatically shown from your point of view (sub-repertoire color). The training statistic is based on those positions where it is the sub-repertoire color to move. You can change the color of a sub-repertoire at any time though.
